Po Hing Fong is the latest local attraction in Central district. You can find colorful graffiti, artistic cafes and probably a scent of good food around here. Tabibito is a mobbed cafe with a distinct way of cooking that combines Japanese with Mexican and serve Japanese tapas. They do brunch only on Saturday and Sunday whereas dinner tapas for regular weekdays. The popular mentaiko pasta has every piece of spaghetti steeped in the absolutely creamy mentaiko sauce, but it’s not for my liking. Favourite dishes are the super duper thick pancake which embodies a half cut caramelized banana; the mini burgers are juicy and tender, with thick slices of foie gras and a spread of truffle mayonnaise; the Norwegian salmon pizza is flavorfully dressed with wasabi mayonnaise, with a layer of tempura crust and thin crust base, these are all something not to be missed! Our brunch also ends with their daily mango crepe cakes filled with silky cream, frozen mango slices, and a surprisingly scrumptious almond crust. I look forward to my next dinner visit and try uni tofu as well as chicken tamago.
