La Maison du Chocolat is the expert of their legendary chocolates. The original store in Paris is a must visit place and even for a non chocolate connoisseur like me is long waited to find out how good they are. Coming to their pastries, favorites are Traviata, the most astonishing chocolate dome, filled with almond and hazelnut meringues, whipped cream, chocolate sabayon and a creme brulee filling.
The signature eclair presents with an amber note of caramel vanilla pastry cream nestled in the delicate choux pastry. Similar to the chocolate version but with chocolate pastry cream and chocolate glaze.
While for the chocolate mousse, it is made finely with signature chocolate, scrumptious cream and surprisingly crunchy chocolate decorations, which definitely packs a punch with its bittersweetness.
