Isono is a dominant eatery and bar at PMQ. Including Vasco, the restaurant holds the upper top two levels with industrial looking environment and natural light coming through the transparent ceiling. They serve exciting Spanish cuisines with Mediterranean flavors all day and very affordable set lunch during the afternoon.
Started off with a simple Nicoise salad made using fresh salad leaves, string beans, russet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg, capers and an olive oil based dressing. The slow cooked short ribs is excellently juicy and tender, with sweet grilled veggies on the side. The meal is completed with a crema catalana, aka burnt cream, which is airy, light and perfectly compromised with a sweet toffee ice cream and pineapple at the bottom layer.
It is also ridiculous to leave the restaurant without trying their signature yet gigantic apple tart tatin. Impressively made with thin phyllo pastry, caramel syrup, apple chunks and scoops of vanilla ice cream with visible pods! This place is an absolute choice for food sharing!
