Being one of the bestsellers among all the soft serve chains, Smile Yogurt is brought to you by Tony Wong, who is well-known for his handmade patisseries. With a focus on delicacy and preciseness, their yogurt is made with a unique recipe of using high quality Greek Yogurt without cream added. They also pay high attention to the presentation, resembling a great varieties of parfaits that involves chocolate, coffee, pastries, fruits and compotes. Some house made options are also available, such as pocky biscuit sticks, palmier cookies, granolas and honey comb.
Occasionally, they will promote new creations named after their shop locations. I sample a Lee Garden version in a theme colour of pink.
A generous serving of tart creamy yogurt comes with fresh strawberries and homemade crumb. Not to mention a deliciously light layer of fragrant rose panna cotta, hidden within is a truly refreshing scoop of strawberry basil sorbet. The parfait is finished off with a few white chocolate decorations, edible diamonds and gold flakes, as well as some popping lychee jelly pearls.
Sometimes, I prefer to create my own yogurt sundae with my favourite toppings of almond crisps, granolas, blueberries, banana passion fruit compote, the varieties are endless.
