“All things are soft before they gets hard,” (Softsrve, 2015). Soft serve is my most favorite dessert among all. But why do they name them soft “srve”? This ice cream bar is opened up by its owner from Singapore. It is set with basic soft white decors with wooden furnitures, which contribute to a comfortably and ideally enjoyable ambience. Having a similar idea as Bastille and Soft Creme, each is differentiated by their own iconic cereal milk based flavor.
True to their name, the honey chips is a cereal milk soft serve topped with potato chips and drizzled with honey, whereas churros is topped with cinnamon sugar churros. While both tastes equally so good in terms of the combinations, the cereal soft serve is sweet and lightly toasty, which could be made better with stronger and obvious cereal flavor.
Particularly, the freshly made churros are crispy and golden yet chewy and soft on the inside, then is finished off with dusting of cinnamon sugar.
In spite of its far location where can hardly reach from town, it is indeed the worthiest dessert bar to visit in Damansara Utama.
