At the corner of North street, there is a cool looking white house coming with a new vibe in Kennedy Town. Chino, plus its wall of street arts, is a modernly designed restaurant where serves distinctive Asian and Japanese inspired Mexican food using locally sourced ingredients. We are introduced with some of their popular orders from the menu, chips and salsa, market fish ceviche, salad to tacos, which are all made fresh upon orders at their open kitchen.
From starter, the crispy tortilla chips are wonderfully served hot with a creamy guacamole dip.
While both the soft tacos are made equally perfect in one portion, the batter fried fish fillet retains amazingly silky whereas the deep fried avocado has crispy outer layer with creamy interior. Not to mention the mashed black bean and chili salsa that have complemented it so well.
This is definitely my number one spot for some impressive and high quality Mexican tacos!
