In recognition of the UC Berkeley’s athletics spirit, this sports bar with two full bars, beers on tap, television and projection screen is named after the football head coach Pappy. They have been serving the Cal and Berkeley community with delicious food and drinks, that includes nachos, burgers, sandwiches, salads and fries from their grill kitchen all day and beers at late night.
The American classic burger made with fresh toasted sesame seed bun has third pound of beef patty lying with lettuce leaves, tomato slices, onions and pickle, in pairing with a basket of potato fries.
Despite its heavy serving size, the gorgeously looking 7” steak roll is stuffed with a bunch of mayonnaise dressed coleslaw, a generous portion of pulled pork that has been richly cooked with smoky sweet barbecue sauce. It is found deliciously tender with satisfying ratio of meat-to-fat, which is definitely a recommended item.
After all, these filling burgers and sandwiches can possibly be the head up of Telegraph Avenue.
