Aloha! The first spot as I stepped into this Hawaiian inspired, newly opened restaurant at the best American food cities, San Francisco. Settled at the gorgeous wine bar with tall wooden chairs on blue-and-white floor tiles, the enjoyable atmosphere is marked by attentive and friendly services from the staffs.
As the kitchen is mastered by a famous Chef and great team, the full menu brings excellent dishes that could possibly be found nowhere.
That includes a tuna poke with thousand island dressing, a few strips of refreshing radish over a crunchy nori cracker. A finishing touch of sesame oil has also completed this dish to perfection. I was at a loss of words!
Another favourite is definitely the loving looking beef tongue bao.
While it is probably the best bao in SF, the warm, fluffy and slightly dense steamed bun is dressed generously with poppy seeds topping, stuffed with two slabs of succulent and excellently tender beef tongue, a kick of chili kimchi and pickled cucumbers. This combination is so interesting and I would highly recommend it.
Ultimately, Liholiho is so worth a visit as being the perfect place for great foods and to chill. I am sure you will love it!
