B-Dama ビー玉 – Japanese Hidden Gem

In Oakland City Centre station, As B-Dama is the one and only Japanese sake bar among all the seafood stands in Swan’s market. On the menu are salad, sashimi and onigiri, all food are made upon order at their kitchen station with the best quality and fresh ingredients. Today’s specials and dinner sets are also offered, for example, sashimi set that comes with side salad, miso soup and steamed rice. You will order at the counter, get yourself a fork, spoon, hot tea and given a number stand for the wait.

I particularly enjoy this alfresco and self serve style where you can get your own comfortable seat.

Tonight, I got a grilled salmon collar from today’s special and ended with their store favourite dessert.

The salmon collar is grilled aesthetically charcoal dark on the edges, with excellent crispy skin and lip-smacking flavor from its natural fish oil. It is nowhere fishy at all and is surefire rich and healthy.

A moreish completion of this meal goes to the matcha affogato that everyone should love. A shot of thick and hot matcha, two small scoops of vanilla ice cream plus a sprinkle of chocolate chips. I would not complain about the rather icy texture because that fudge like and bitterly sweet matcha has complemented it to heaven! A definite must-order!

Swan’s Market is very tourist friendly, be sure to take a visit for some seafood goodness!
