Shoreditch is on the top of my wish list since its recent opening four months ago. Can’t believe I am here now! Thanks to iPick and Foodie HK!
This trendy gastropub offers British classic dishes, some flavors of the London east as well as a list of craft beers and cocktails.
Situated at the corner of Catchick street, it has a very inviting and industrial look with floor-to-ceiling design. Likewise, the menu has included seafood chowder, fish and chips and classic pies. However, it is not as simple as that.
One highly recommended dish would be their pork belly. Slow cooked to perfect tenderness, the piece of fatty belly has an irresistible skin that has been salt crusted to 100% excellence. It also served with roasted veggies and delectable applesauce.
The sticky toffee pudding is just as enjoyable. Served like a trio with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream and decently cut strawberry rose, it is moist and medianly sweetened. But I would say Gordon Ramsey has done it better.
All in all, Shoreditch is no doubt to savor delicious London eats!
