Dragon King Restaurant 龍皇 – The Best Staple

Led by a Hong Kong celebrity Chef, Dragon Restaurant is situated at the top floor of World Trade Center overtaken by a beautiful view of the Victoria Harbour. During the afternoon, it offers decent and fine dim sum, barbecue meats as well as some awarding dishes that are great to spend some quality time with the family.

A staple turnip cake is fried with brown edges, whilst the deep fried taro puffs are made excellently crispy.

The glutinous dumpling also possesses a chewy and sweet mochi texture.

Some steamed options are shrimps and veggie dumplings served impressively neat in a bamboo steamer.

Similar to the barbecue pork buns that are also fluffy and fulfilling.

Favourites are the pineapple buns with a sweet pastry crust, filled with honey glazed pork inside the wonderful baked soft bun.

Whereas the green tea mochi surprises us with its savory pork filling contrasting the sweet mochi wrap, which has been lightly seared at the bottom.

Ultimately, this is a nice restaurant for a family meal.
