Yue, a Michelin-starred restaurant at City Garden Hotel, is where serves modern and nicely presented Cantonese delicacies. There have been many Chef recommended dishes here and most of them are award winning, of great authenticity and well presentation.
Signatures include a three-layer steamed egg white, made with carrot, spinach juice respectively, served atop seared garoupa fillet with black truffle paste. The portion is in good moderation and the combination of taste is just heaven!
The foie gras steamed pork is another 2015 Michelin awarded dish. It is kept hot in a stone pot with sizzling bottom, a molecular soy sauce as well as diced water chestnut and scallop to form the complex texture.
Finally, a beef rib is excellently soft and tenderly braised in sweet gravy, alongside two portions of shredded turnip, which is a refreshing completion of such a meaty dish.
The size of the longevity bun is rather surprising and under expectation, as its dough is too dense stuffed with minimal lotus paste and salted yolk.
Nonetheless, this Michelin-starred restaurant is very welcoming, providing great intimacy and attentive services to enjoy a wonderful meal.
