A while back then, there seems to be a dramatic spread of Korean culture over Hong Kong. There are plentiful Korean joints popping up, think like Korean fried chicken, barbecue restaurants and the most popularly known shaved ice.
Sister to Bingo Korean Dessert Cafe, Bingo & Cook is the latest hit spot where serves the authentic bingsu. There are a ton of tasty selection such as coconut, mango, honeydew melon and traditional patbingsu, which essentially is just a base of red bean and condensed milk.
The menu offers more than that of their TST branch. It covers a few Korean savouries including a Korean potato noodle that have assorted seafood such as squid, clams and prawns, stir fried with a spicy cheesy sauce.
Ideally, the Korean fried chickens are made impressively with boneless and bone-on chicken. It comes with a few condiments and dips, favourites are the sweet & chili sauce and sweet soy sauce that has a hint of garlic fragrant.
In addition, we are given a deep fried giant octopus that is equally crispy and delicious.
While the new branch is still offering some old dishes on the menu, there’s no way to leave without trying their desserts.
