Mapo Agricultural & Marine Products Market 麻浦農水產物市場 – Sea Fruit Market

Mapo Agricultural & Marine Products Market is just across the street adjacent to World Cup Stadium. It is relatively small as compare to Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market, the composition is mainly seafood at the front, fruit stalls at the back, and a dine in area on the second floor.

While there are fruit wholesalers whom to find cheap and good quality local fruits, a sufficient number of fish stalls selling a huge varieties of fresh seafood are also found selling like abalone, prawns, octopus, squid, mini fishes etc.

An order of steamed king crab is a must here that is full of chunky crab meat and the remaining crab roe within the shell could be stir fried with rice.

We are recommended to grill the abalone but the Korean will usually have it as sashimi.

After all, it’s a great alternative to Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market at Seoul.

  1. Blue Swimming Crab and Clams export from Turkey
    Dear Sir, Madam

We as N. Aegean Sea food are a newly formed company to export Clams and Blue swimming crab out of Turkey.

With in our region Blue Swimming Crab (Callinectes sapidus) is being harvested Naturaly from the Lagoons and the sea by local fisherman. So we decided to open a company for exporting this Crab and Clams. We would be honored if we can find an interes to export our crab/clams and have a mutual benefit from this business.

It is a delicious snack equal to lobster. It usually lives in shallow waters of seas, lagoons and estuaries, which are all low-salinity waters. Stable water temperature, clean water and plankton richness the blue crabs multiplied rapidly and now they are in abundance in the Aegean Sea. Specially in North coasts large quantities are available for fishing.

The blue crab Callinectes sapidus that is caught in Turkish seas is one of the few crab species that contain so much meat. Its high percentage of meat and great palatability make it ideal for the production of a variety of products, such as surimi, crab meat, etc. Due to its above stated qualitative characteristics, many of our customers use its flesh as a natural flavor enhancer in similar seafood mixtures.

    Frozen Crabs.

All frozen products are made by IQF freezing procedure directly from the sea while they are still live! ensuring in this way that each individual piece of food is frozen separately from all the others.

They can either be packaged in carton or polyester boxes of abt 10kg. or acc. to customer need.

    The crabs are 200gr – 300gr / 300gr And over abt 10% is female

    Fresh Crabs.
