Located at the upper levels of L’hart building, Otto is a restaurant and bar where serves some affordable and promising French-inspired dishes that are prepared with only the top quality, safe ingredients. Their chef who used to work at a Chinese restaurant had been exploring from hotels to Western restaurants until he completed a milestone to set open Otto, the restaurant.
It was a freshening start with the lobster and peach salad, which also consists of assorted fresh fruits and dressed with honey lemon vinaigrette.
Our favourite option is the beef wellington that has been correctly baked to medium rare, wrapped with smoked bacon, foie gras pate and diced-portobello-mushroom-onion mixture. With puff pastry wrapped around the Australian beef loin, it stays perfectly delicious, tender and juicy. Believe it or not, it is for all steak lovers.
Aside from a cheese platter sourced from a French wholesaler, with grapes, carrot and other condiments, another dessert platter also follows to end the menu.
Final verdict, it is another normal but nice place to dine in Causeway Bay.
