B2 – British Cafe at Tai Hang

Tai Hang is a little area tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of Causeway Bay. It is easy to get there, which takes only a short walk from Tin Hau MTR station, packed full of restaurants and cafe, becoming a neighborhood for an afternoon break and late night out.

Like B2 at School Street, it is a new British cafe that serves up a solid list of light salads, snacks, fish and chips and traditional all-day breakfast.

The breakfast fare consists of eggs in your style, including sunny side up and poached, a grilled pork sausage, bacon, sautéed mushroom and baked beans.
Hash brown is ordinary but crisply fried, whereas the thick toast is served with butter and jam on the side.

The house signature burger is prepared with two crispy Yorkshire beer batter fried onion rings, beef burger, along the side with thick cut potato fries and salad leaves. I like the honey pommery sauce although it is simply a mix of whole grain mustard with honey dressing.

Given its reasonable price tags and the options of homemade healthy smoothies, like how they top the 150 calories strawberry smoothie with quick cooking oats, it is still a good option available at Tai Hang.
