PAN de PAIN – A Pancakes & Sweets House

Pan de Pain is a Japanese cafe specializes in handcrafted pancakes which are freshly made with premium flour and 3.6 milk from Japan. Located in K11 mall, it is runs by a local head chef who has drawn inspiration from Tokyo, where also serves hotcakes in soufflé style, French toast, breakfast food and sandwiches for all day enjoyment.

Rarely seen, the must-order soufflé hotcakes are indeed thick, fluffy and light. They can be effortlessly cut apart, served with whipped butter, soft whipped cream and some maple syrup, it is mastered perfectly.

On the visit, I particularly like the signature French toast. The chunks of French baguette have caramelized crispy crust with a soft center, served with real-good Movenpick vanilla ice ream and some fresh fruits on the side. They are well executed.
