Back to my favourite burger joint again. At Causeway Bay branch, the venue is very vibrant, modern, industrial looking and with a very welcoming, opened dining area.
At night, Big Fernand is still looking vibrant, modern and relaxing, serving a variety of la maison du French burgers.
Among choices of beef, chicken and lamb burgers, we opt for the signature Le Bartholome again.
The vegetarian mushroom burger is also a delicious alternative composed of juicy portobello mushroom, sun dried tomato and lusciously sweet caramelized onion, melted cheese and the same home-made cocktail sauce.
Besides, they have recently introduced a special edition burger which is only available at the Causeway Bay branch – L Salomon. It features perfectly deep fried fresh salmon fillet, loaded with chopped black olives, sweet sun dried tomatoes, a homemade sweet mayonnaise in the fluffy sesame bun. In addition, the combo comes with French fries, one sprinkled with house secret seasoning and another with Herbs de Provence, the perfect side dishes to dip in that lovely mayo or ketchup.
It is a great alternative to the other meat burgers.
