As its name suggested, La Creperie is a French restaurant chain specialising in authentic Breton crepes and galettes; crepe is basically a thin pancake made with wheat flour whereas galatte is gluten-free and made with buckwheat flour; both are cooked on a griddle to form a flat round cake.
The new venue at Causeway Bay is beautifully styled like a casual French bistro where offers a good-value weekday lunch menu including options of fresh salad, blue cheese linguini pasta, lobster spaghetti, homemade fish soup with croutons and cheese, and of course, their signature galatte!
It all starts with a lime mint soda and a crispy galatte. The smoked salmon and spinach comes perfectly with an egg on top, a cream base and a little squeeze of lemon juice; whereas the smoked ham is amazingly filled with fresh and thick-sliced tomatoes, extremely melty and mild camembert cheese.
