Woo Lae Oak 又來屋 – Since 1946

Another oldest restaurant in Seoul, Woo Lae Oak, has been here since the pre-Korean War era in 1946. They are famous for their naengmyeon, the cold noodle which is one of the fews who serves it in the authentic North Korean, Pyeongyang style.

The bulgogi, pan-fried beef is also a popular dish here, but the boneless shortribs has been the table’s favourite. Cook right upon on the copper grill, it tastes wonderfully juicy and tender with a sweet marinade.

To reach here, take line 2 and 5 at Euljiro-4-ga Station Exit 4. Walk straight for about 10 meters and turn right at the first alley. Go 50 meters and it will be on your left.
