Following the 101 introductory food list at Seoul, I’m doing a second list for this year.
We start off with a healthy and power-boosting smoothie made with strawberry, banana and vanilla milk from the Joe and the Juice, the new branch at Hong Kong International Airport.
At Hongdae district, we randomly grab a heavenly cup of boneless fried chicken covered thoroughly with sweet and spice barbecue sauce, and cheese sauces. It also comes with tater tots and mini rice cake. Nom nom nom…
Needless to say, O’sulloc is my favourite place to visit in Seoul and this time I made it to the Hongdae store. I love everything here including Green tea king o’fredo, houjicha o’fredo, green tea latte, green tea tiramisu and cake rolls. For this winter, they have a list of new items. Green tea cream latte, green tea affogato with milk ice cream as well as green tea fondue!
Sulbing Korean Dessert Cafe is also a place to go for some local bingsu dessert, which can be easily found throughout the big cities in Korea. Strawberry cheesecake wins over by having so many sweet strawberries than the tiramisu bingsu with nothing but a hot espresso on the side.
Finally, a grapefruit soda from Twosome place at N Seoul Tower, a quick soy sauce raw crab and seafood pancake meal at Pho Duck in Myeongdong, and a shrimp burger & chicken nuggets with melon soda before our return flight at Incheon airport.
